Our Story

We are a small family farm located in Northern British Columbia. It is our joy to work with nature to see the land be regenerated as we grow food and raise livestock. Our passion is for breeding great milk goats of the Nigerian Dwarf breed as well as preserving the adorable and beloved Babydoll Miniature Southdown Sheep breed. We take pride in making and selling goat milk soap as well as growing an abundance of hardneck garlic and veggies.

Our farming journey began on an urban lot in a nearby city. Seeing all that we could grow in a small strip of yard was exciting and inspired us to seek out a place to farm. When an opportunity to move westward and buy a little farmhouse with a small acreage arose we jumped at it with enthusiasm. It is a place with history, the site of an early 1900’s homestead. Most important to us was the soil. We wanted a piece of fertile land and we found it! Our farm is located along a meandering river with a meadow for a big garden and grazing. This is our paradise. We often say to ourselves, “why would we want to go on vacation when we have everything we want to do right here at home?” We welcome you along on our farming journey.
